WELCOME to Chatham Guest Rooms

main.jpg

Centrally located halfway between the Cape Cod Canal and Provincetown, Chatham Guest Rooms offers a distinctive and comfortable place to stay in Chatham. The Chatham Lighthouse and both Atlantic and Nantucket Sound beaches are all less than 2 miles away.

We are only 1.5 miles west of the historic village center of Chatham, which offers gift shops, restaurants, art galleries, and unique year-round entertainment.

Our historic farmhouse, built in the 1700's, won a 2006 Preservation Award from the Chatham Historical Society.  The ground floor of the building houses our other business, where we sell antique maps at Maps of Antiquity.  Stop in during your stay to see unique maps of your home town, state, or country!

Each of our spacious guest rooms has a private bath, a separate entrance, and a view of our ecclectic garden. All of our rooms have been renovated with custom carpentry, combining old world character with modern conveniences.

The friendly innkeepers are available daily, and are happy to provide guests with detailed information about our area. We welcome visitors of all ages and nationalities, and can further assist with our ability to speak French.

If you will, imagine a place where fishermen and stockbrokers get together to talk about the tides; a place where yoga classes are taught on the beach at sunrise while seals play offshore, and where the wintry weather is wonderfully unpredictable.  Join us. We look forward to your visit!

REVIEW OF OUR MAin Suite

"Great Choice"

The main suite is wonderful and it has everything that you would expect to have at home (including all kitchen facilities, a beautiful room with a lot of books and a comfortable sofa, beach chairs and umbrella to enjoy the seaside). We thank Danielle and her husband for their great hospitality. And before leaving we bought a fantastic map of Cape Cod in the Maps of Antiquity store.

Review of Our Garden Suite

"Chatham Guest Rooms - A Wonderful Experience!"

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here in the Garden Suite during our stay of 4 days on the Cape and nothing could have been more enjoyable. Bob, Danielle and the entire staff are extremely customer-focused, responsive and genuinely committed to you making the most of your stay with them. We would highly recommend Chatham Guest Rooms and we hope to return again in the future!

Green Features: Top notch and committed to your stay being "eco-friendly" in all aspects of their establishment without being overt or pushy about it.

Review of Our East Guest Room

"Hidden gem in Chatham"

I hesitate to write this as I don't want folks to discover this amazing property in Chatham. I booked this several months ago as the summer was fast approaching and rooms on the Cape start disappearing. The reviews on line were great, so I just went with it. When we arrived, Danielle was there to greet us and show us to our room. We had reserved the East Room. What a pleasant surprise! This room is spacious and newly renovated. It has exposed beams on the ceiling and lots of windows to give it a great deal of light. There is a refrigerator and coffee pot as well as a tea maker! I drink tea and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that this was there. No matter how hard you try, tea tastes like coffee when you put hot water through a coffee maker. Danielle and Bob go out of there way to make sure about little touches like this. The bed was comfortable and the place was spotless. Danielle and Bob were so kind and informative. We enjoyed talking to them and cannot wait to return.

About Us

About Us

In 2005, we, Bob Zaremba and Danielle Jeanloz, converted our year-around apartments into nightly guest room rentals. Our guesthouse business has grown rapidly.  We are delighted to welcome both our new visitors and repeat guests to enjoy our spacious accommodations. We offer high-quality linens, freshly ground coffee, views of our garden, and ample sitting areas in the privacy of your room.

IMG_2719-2.jpg

Before purchasing our business in Chatham, we lived in other parts of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New York, Canada and Europe.  We spent many years traveling throughout the world. After visiting Chatham for over 30 years, we decided to settle into this fine resort community because of its natural beauty, cultural and social opportunities, proximity to major cities, gentle climate (for the Northeast) and small-town character.

We have broad personal and professional backgrounds. Danielle, of dual Swiss-American nationality, spent many of her childhood years in the Boston area. She was formerly a Sales Director at American Airlines and the Executive Director of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce. Bob was originally from Vermont and has family roots in Chatham since the 1960's. He has a Ph.D in Botany and has worked in environmental conservation for over 30 years. He divides his time between the antique map business, the guest rooms and environmental consulting.
